PACK FOR VACATION
AWESOME TRIP TO KUCHING, SARAWAK
The trip was planned a few months back, somewhere in July 2017 where I found quite affordable flight fare for me, hubby and my 10 year old son. We booked the return ticket from 25 to 28 November and I also booked Tune Hotel Waterfront as our accommodation during our stay in Sarawak. Personally, I am really excited since this is going to be my hubby's first experience traveling......so, I'm going to share our experience during our visit there...it's all DIY...no trip package whatsoever....yet, we managed to explore the rich culture of the state and experience the uniqueness of the people and the food....
We left home very early in the morning and headed to Sultan Mahmud International Airport where we boarded the 8.20 am Airasia flight to KLIA2. It took about 55 minutes to reach the airport. So, roughly, after arriving at KLIA2, quickly we dropped our bag at the counter for our next flight to Kuching which would depart at 12.55 pm. Then, we grabbed some meals and drinks at the mamak coffeeshop at level 2 mezzanine....

The journey from KLIA2 to Kuching International Airport took about 2 hours and 55 minutes journey. The weather was a bit cloudy since it is now monsoon season in Malaysia. But luckily, there was no rain...
